IILF Chennai 2025
The 38th India International Leather Fair (IILF) will be held at Chennai Trade Centre from February 01- 03, 2025.
Being a flagship event of India’s leather industry, IILF has evolved as one of the most prominent specialized events of leather and accessories, footwear component, synthetics material footwear, leather goods, machinery, chemicals, equipment and technology in the international calendar of the events. Apart from its pronounced business dimension, IILF also offers an excellent platform to demonstrate India’s export and investment potential in the leather & allied sectors. This year, IILF Chennai will also expand to the newly constructed exhibition halls at Chennai Trade Centre. IILF Chennai 2025 will thus be held in a larger area to showcase the best of the Indian Leather Industry and International Leather trade & Allied sectors.
Since its inception, the event has emerged as an ideal forum for presenting multi-facetted splendor of the Indian leather industry and is rated as the largest and best-attended leather event in the South Asian sub-continent providing value for money to both buyers and sellers across the globe
The Fair is expected to attract a large number of participants and business visitors not only from India but from overseas also. In the last edition of the fair held in Chennai during 2024, there were more than 400 exhibitors including 66 from 16 overseas countries. 384 trade visitors from 54 countries visited the Fair in addition to 14.222 trade visitors from India. The participants’ and visitors’ feedback during IILF 2024 indicated that the objective of their participation has been attained.

German Pavilion
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
